Hey Cory! You wrote about a water trip you went on, what agency did you go with? I've been wanting to get more involved in helping the Water Crisis. Looking through your blog you seem very well educated and passionate about the subject, any pointers in getting the word out?
Absolutely! I am all for helping out a fellow water’er. My story has been an interesting one, all self taught and gleaned from those around me, book, and sites. A really good site is http://water.org they know their stuff and have a good site. Check all their pages from the bar on the top of their hompage. Good stuff.The water crisis is huge! Very huge, over 10,400 people die each day from something we could fix.
MOST of what I post is just info I have taken from other sites and books.
About my trip, I went through my local church, and headed up our newly formed water solvency team for Africa. We are starting in Ethiopia and going to work from there. http://www.lifewater.org/ has a really good intern program and more info if you are interested. so does http://www.bloodwatermission.com/ all of those sites have good ideas for spreading the news and raising money to solve.
